Thomas C. Kohler is the Concurrent Professor of Law and Philosophy at Boston College Law School. He is an internationally recognized authority on the labor and employment laws of the United States and other western nations, with an emphasis on German law. He has served as Fulbright Visiting Professor on the law faculty of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universität (Frankfurt am Main), the Audi Visiting Professor at the Katholische Universität Eichstätt (Germany) and served as a visiting professor on the faculties of the University of Texas School of Law and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. Among other honors, he is a member of the American Law Institute and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He has also been a Fellow of the German Marshall Fund and the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation. Prof. Kohler also publishes and lectures extensively on Catholic Social Thought both in the U.S. and in Europe and has acted as an expert for the Pontifical Academy of the Social Sciences.
